Adele has filed for divorce from her husband Simon Konecki six months after they separated.
The Hello singer, 31, introduced in April that she and charity entrepreneur Simon had cut up after three years of marriage.
And she has now formally referred to as time on their marriage by lodging divorce papers at a courtroom in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Adele and Konecki started courting in 2011 and welcomed their son, Angelo, in 2012.
They tied the knot in a secret 2016 ceremony, with Adele publicly addressing the marriage for the primary time throughout an acceptance speech on the 2017 Grammys.
After she collected the Album of the Year gong, the Someone Like You singer mentioned: ‘Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son you’re the one motive I do it.’
Speaking after their separation was confirmed Adele’s rep mentioned the exes have been devoted on ‘raising Angelo lovingly’.
‘They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,’ her spokesperson mentioned.
The divorce information comes after sources claimed the Make You Feel My Love is feeling ‘perky as hell’ after a ‘difficult year’.
Some questionable wording there, however we’ll take it.
‘She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year,’ a supply instructed People in September.
‘She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s mentioned prior to now that creating new music is nearly like remedy. You can inform that she is able to share with her followers.’
Tottenham-born Adele has been just about the reigning queen of the music world since releasing her debut album, 19, in 2008.
