Gemma Winter’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) pregnancy looks set to end as chaotically as it started on Coronation Street, as she and boyfriend Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) await the arrival of their quadruplets.
New filming pictures showed stars Dolly-Rose and Sam filming scenes in Llandudno, suggesting the couple are set to enjoy some quality time just the two of them before their four little bundles of joy turn their lives upside down.
The pair were pictured smiling together on set as they made the most of their day out.
The actors played out the scenes at the Great Orme, and were both dressed for the cool weather, with Gemma wearing something typically outlandish in a bright yellow jacket and animal print skirt.
A heavily pregnant Gemma seems to be enjoying herself and demands to take a ride on the cable car.
Snaps taken on location show the young mum-to-be holding her baby bump and looking pained just before the couple gear up to board.
Is Gemma’s trip on the cable car about to take a dramatic turn as she finds herself going into labour above ground?
It could only happen to Gemma and Chesney really.
The birth could happen after the kebab shop queen gets stuck in the turnstiles during a day out at a stadium.
But it’s not all a nightmare, as Chesney looks set to propose to his girlfriend if these snaps are anything to go by.
As the couple head off for a walk together, Chesney suddenly gets down on one knee.
Gemma appears shocked at her boyfriend’s spontaneous action, but can later be seen smiling and sharing a hug with her man.
However we can’t spot a ring in these pictures, so anything could be happening between these two.
Knowing Gemma and Chesney, it’s probably going to be a just a massive misunderstanding that ends hilariously – but it could get them thinking about tying the knot for real.
With four babies on the way they’re going to have to get a move on.
Earlier filming pics saw Gemma need the assistance of the emergency services as her huge baby bump saw her become trapped trying to make her way around the venue.
She just keeps going from one disaster to another, so we won’t be surprised if the birth scenes go down in soap history.
