They may only have started working together on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2012, but David Walliams showed that he’s been close to Ant and Dec for a long time as he shared an amazing old picture of them together.
The trio will be appearing together on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions later this month, but the 47-year-old children’s author decided to focus on the past rather than the present as he posted the incredible throwback snap to Twitter.
Wearing school uniforms that hark back to the pair’s PJ and Duncan days, Ant and Dec somehow manage to have not aged a day – seriously, we want their skincare regime.
David, on the other hand, is barely recognisable as he grins between the pair. It might be the teeth that makes the Little Britain comedian look so different, but whether he naturally grew into them or got a dentist’s number from his fellow BGT columnist Simon Cowell, we have to say that David’s glow-up game is strong.
‘An oldie but a goodie,’ he wrote as he tagged Ant and Dec in the picture.
Rising up together as bright young things on the entertainment circuit in the 1990s, Ant, Dec and David’s paths were likely to have crossed many times.
However, it wasn’t until David joined the panel for the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent that they went on to regularly work together.
The friends and colleagues are often known for ribbing each other on Twitter, with David marking Ant’s return to social media in March with some good old-fashioned teasing.
In a post to his 2.07million followers, the comedian took us all back to the PJ and Duncan days as he shared the boy’s music video for their 1995 hit Perfect.
Writing in the caption, the children’s author quipped: ‘@antanddec with a song they wrote about me. ‘Perfect’. WARNING – CONTAINS NUDITY.’
What are they like…
