Fans have been demanding a collab between the groups for years, ever since that iconic fist bump as the Billboard Music Awards in 2019.
Two years later and we’re still not-so patiently waiting for Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas to appear on the same song as K-Pop legends RM, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V and Jungkook.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk, the dad-of-one – who is working alongside Expedia for their Helping Hand campaign – set the record straight on whether we’ll ever get the dreamiest collaboration in music.
‘I think they are immensely talented and incredible at what they do,’ he told us.
‘A collab would be awesome.’
Joe also promised that he is also working on ‘new stuff’ with his siblings, and has been in the studio recently.
‘We are constantly in the studio and working on stuff,’ he continued. ‘New stuff is coming soon for sure.’
The star spent the majority of the last year locked down with wife Sophie Turner, with the couple celebrating their second wedding anniversary last week.
During their time at home, the lovebirds quietly welcomed their first child together, introducing baby Willa last summer.
Following some time off – where he flaunted some mad Uno skills – he got right back to work, and wrapped his time on upcoming flick Devotion recently.
‘Lockdown obviously forced everyone to slow down,’ Joe said. ‘I’ve travelled so much for my career for so many years it was nice to be home for a bit.
‘I’ve got really good at Uno though.
‘[Working on] Devotion was an incredible experience and I can’t wait for people to see what we have done.
‘It’s been a while since I was on a film set like that and it felt great. I can’t wait to be back on one again soon.’
Can someone give us the Camp Rock sequel we’ve quite frankly been crying out for?
As well as Devotion and getting to grips with dad-life, Joe has fronted Expedia’s Helping Hand campaign, to help people prepare for their first adventures out of lockdown.
Through this, he has offered a cast of his actual hand to those who need a ‘comforting hand-squeeze’ on their travels.
Fans can get their mitts on a 3D sculpture of his hand – with money donated to charity for every statue claimed.
Discussing the venture, he added: ‘I feel like it’s always nice to have a helping hand when you’re traveling and you’re unfamiliar with a city and you want to have a locals experience.
‘One of the most important parts to traveling is who you travel with. I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to travel the world with my closest friends and family as part of my career.
‘Expedia understands that importance and that’s why I’m excited to be partnering with them as part of that commitment to be the ultimate travel companion for travellers as we get ready to get back out there.’
