Jordyn, 21, broke down in tears during a new interview, when she looked back at her journal entry from the day she filmed her Red Table Talk with long-time friend Jada Pinkett-Smith back in February.
She revealed that she tells her innermost thoughts to her diary during her interview with Teen Vogue: ‘I’ve always had them, but especially now I have trust issues. My book isn’t going to say something to someone.’
Jordyn read from her journal: ‘February 27, “happy birthday dad”. It’s interesting, that’s right before Red Table Talk.
‘This is really sad, actually. Well, it’s not sad, it’s bringing me back to what I felt at the time. Why am I crying?’
She had appeared on Red Table Talk to absolve herself of any guilt surrounding Khloe Kardashian’s split from her baby daddy Tristan, after it was rumoured he was caught kissing Jordyn..
The incident led to the breakdown of her longstanding friendship with Kylie Jenner, Khloe’s half-sister, and meant Jordyn also had to move out of Kylie’s house.
When asked about the end of their friendship, Jordyn said: ‘What’s the definition of a breakup? The separation or breaking up of something into several pieces or sections. The end of a relationship.
‘Those are the two things. What I’d ask is, “Does anything really end? Or is it a cycle?” The toughest breakup I had to go through was losing my father.
‘Everything doesn’t feel as intense as that. Losing my dad prepared me for everything that happens in life, and… life has thrown some really crazy things at me. That’s part of the process.’
