Kristin Cavallari has sparked outrage after sharing a sexy snap of herself whereas paying tribute to the victims of 9/11.
The Hills star posed in a plunging black gown for the Instagram shot in New York, which she captioned: ‘NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be right here… at all times keep in mind.
The 32-year-old promoted her personal model Uncommon James and different labels like Prada in the publish by tagging them.
Her followers flocked to the feedback to accuse her of being ‘disrespectful’ and ‘insensitive’ to the households of 9/11 victims.
‘This whole post is just wrong and insensitive to those who lost loved ones due to these unspeakable acts,’ one person raged.
Another added: ‘I love you and think that you are generally spot on in the things that you choose to present, but this is just disrespectful and undermining to the magnitude of the events that occurred on that horrific day.’
‘Inappropriate picture for today! Have a little respect for 9/11!’ a 3rd wrote, whereas a fourth agreed: ‘Wrong picture for the sentiment in the post.’
After the backlash, the Laguna Beach star modified the caption to easily say: ‘NYC for 24hrs.’
Page Six reported that all the fiasco prompted Kristin to take issues into her personal arms as she ‘fired a social media staffer’ after the publish went viral for all the mistaken causes.
