Liam Payne claims police officer asked for autograph during devastating fire at London flat

Liam Payne has mentioned the weird ranges of fame he skilled as a member of One Direction – together with the evening a police officer asked for an autograph after his flat went up in flames.

A blaze broke out at his residence – in a luxurious block of flats in London’s Canary Wharf – during a celebration again in 2013, leaving three individuals injured.

And, recalling the notorious evening, the Strip That Down singer Liam defined that the officer accountable for the case asked for his autograph.

The dad-of-one defined: ‘When I was 18 or 19, a fire broke out at my flat. My friend was burnt and had fainted, and I had to put him in an ambulance. I didn’t know if he would dwell or die.

‘My girlfriend was in one other ambulance and I used to be in a police car.

‘I used to be trying at my residence, pondering that I had misplaced the whole lot, when the policeman rotated and point-blank asked me for an autograph.

‘I didn’t know react, to be trustworthy, so I simply signed one thing to do away with the issue,’ he added to the Times.

‘But it was quite crazy.’

Liam is now gearing up for the discharge of his debut solo album LP1, out 6 December 2019.

The 26-year-old star has already scored two high 10 UK hit singles because the demise of One Direction: 2017’s Strip That Down, and final yr’s duet with Rita Ora, For You.
