Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have been looking to the design of some of their celebrity pals’ houses to incorporate into the build of their dream new home.
The couple, who have been married since 2015, have been giving their fans an insight into the progress of the dream home they are designing for themselves in Essex and asked fans for their input on the choice of staircase.
Mark, 34, and Michelle, 33, shared six options for the followers of their @wrightyhome account to choose from, and eagle-eyed fans spotted that two of them belonged to fellow stars Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix, and Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright.
The first photo in the post, with an elegant sweeping staircase and a mirror panelled wall belongs to Rio and Kate while picture three, with a grand piano under the stairs was in Leigh-Anne’s home.
The couple have been documenting the journey to creating their forever home on Instagram, with Mark revealing last month: ‘Part of my life I don’t always share is my property development
‘A hobby and side hustle that I love but last July me and @michkeegan started building our dream home…
‘We debated sharing our journey & after a lot of thought we decided we wanted to bring you along with us!’
Michelle and Mark had purchased an older house on the plot in 2019 which they knocked down to start again and build the property exactly as they wanted it to be.
The couple have said they want their £1.3million build to be in a ‘Georgian style with more of a modern twist’, and have previously shared an artist’s mock-up of what the palatial home will look like once finished.
As well as the main house, which will overlook stunning grounds, the couple also want to include a home cinema, bar, gym, swimming pool and a sunken fire pit in the garden to enjoy over the summer months.
