Matt Goss believes this ‘politically correct world’ is why people are lonely and detached

Singer claims political correctness is the explanation people are lonely.

The Bros star believes that people are ‘terrified’ on social interplay due to the concern of political correctness.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain to launch their 1 Million Minutes marketing campaign, Matt recommended: ‘I believe everybody is scared of one another in the meanwhile.

‘Should we hug one another? Should we not hug one another? But generally human being do want a hug or an arm across the shoulder or somebody to note you are near tears.

‘We need interaction. But we are terrified of it in this politically correct world. We wonder why so many people are lonely but we are becoming detached from each other.’

The 51-year-old admitted he struggled with grief after his sister and mom died, which resulted in him feeling remoted.

Matt and his twin brother Luke was a part of the 1980s group Bros and had recorded a canopy of Are You Lonesome Tonight? and introduced up how a lot his sister and mom dying affected him.

His mom battled most cancers and handed away in 2014.

‘Some of the things we experienced in the band, it was nothing short of a void,’ he continued.

‘Sometimes you have to dust yourself off. I don’t remorse these instances however I’m completely happy I obtained by means of the opposite facet.

‘But the most impactful thing was, obviously, my sister passing, killed by a drunk driver, and the loss of my mother. Those two things. With my mother, I didn’t know a method out. ‘

Meanwhile, brother Luke revealed a second documentary is in the works with his brother Matt following the success of their first film – however this time spherical, he promised it’ll be ‘grittier’ than ever.
