Roxanne Pallett weighs in on sacked Emmerdale star after Jamie Lomas fight

Roxanne Pallett has weighed in on the latest fight between the now-sacked Emmerdale star Asan N’Jie, and Hollyoaks actor .

Asan, who performed Ellis Chapman on the cleaning soap, and Jamie clashed at an after celebration for the TV Choice Awards earlier this week, with the incident caught on video.

In the footage Asan seemingly threatens to ‘knife’ Jamie, who stars as Warren Fox on Hollyoaks, in a blazing row and the pair need to be separated.

The actor has since been sacked from the ITV cleaning soap.

Roxanne, who performed Jo Sugden on Emmerdale, determined not to enter what occurred however added that ‘folks make errors’.

Appearing on Friday’s Jeremy Vine, she stated: ‘I’m not in a place to evaluate anybody so I’m not gonna remark.

‘I believe folks make errors and we study from them.’

In an announcement, ITV stated that Asan’s contract had been terminated ‘with fast impact’.

The actor added: ‘My behaviour on the TV Choice Awards was utterly unacceptable and really a lot out of character. I sincerely apologise to everyone who has been affected particularly Jamie Lomas, the entire Emmerdale group, our viewers, ITV, my household, and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards. I’m devastated, settle for full accountability for my actions and I’m decided to study from this.’

She could have been referring to her personal controversy from final 12 months, when she wrongly accused Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas of ‘punching’ her.
