Joe Sugg has confirmed today that he will be joining the cast of the West End musical Waitress.
He announced the decision during an appearance on Radio 2 on Tuesday morning, speaking to presenter Amol Rajan.
The news comes after a successful year for the YouTuber, after reaching the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, as well as presenting the New Year’s Eve fireworks for the BBC in December.

When will Joe Sugg be performing in Waitress?
Joe Sugg will be joining the west end cast of Waitress next month, and will make his debut on Monday 9 September.
He will be taking the role of Ogie, and he will be replacing The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison, who will make his final performance on Saturday 7 September.
He will be joining Lucie Jones, Marisha Wallace and Laura Baldwin, as well as various other actors when he steps onto the stage for the first time in just a few weeks.
Speaking ahead of his debut performance, Joe said: ‘I got to see the show a couple of months back and it’s absolutely fantastic.
‘I’m excited to be a part of the cast and to have now landed a role in the West End really has topped off an incredible year for me.’

The show can be watched at the Adelphi Theatre in London and targets are available to buy from Ticketmaster with tickets starting from £28.75.
