Boris Johnson denies lying to Queen over Parliament suspension

Boris Johnson has denied lying to the Queen over the suspension of Parliament, insisting such claims had been “absolutely not” true.

The Prime Minister, requested whether or not he lied to the monarch after the Court of Session in Edinburgh mentioned recommendation given by ministers to the Queen which led to the five-week prorogation was “unlawful”, mentioned: “Absolutely not.”
