A British grandmother who was caught flying into Bali from Bangkok with 10Ib of cocaine says she ‘just wants to die’ after spending six years locked up within the nation’s grim Kerobokan jail.

The 23-year-old mentioned: ‘She spends all day pretty much alone in her cell and doesn’t combine a lot with the opposite prisoners.

‘She snaps at me for no reason but I still make an effort with her. She has said she wants to die.’

Mack says Sandiford’s psychological well being deteriorated after two different inmates – who had been in for drug-related offences – had been executed.

‘When Lindsay saw that even they could be taken away and killed, she knew it would be happening to her. That’s when it actually, actually hit house for her,’ Mack mentioned.

Sandiford, who has no earlier convictions, was sentenced to death in 2013.
