Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange is to stay in prison when his jail time period ends due to his “history of absconding”, a choose has dominated.

He was due to be launched on 22 September after serving his sentence for breaching bail situations.

But Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard there have been “substantial grounds” for believing he would abscond once more.

The Australian is preventing extradition to the US over allegations of leaking authorities secrets and techniques.
