Daniel Osula, 37, who has Irish and Nigerian nationality, despatched emails to authorities departments threatening to “commit a grave and bloodied crime” together with a knife attack on civil servants and driving a car at pedestrians, Southwark crown courtroom was advised.
When Osula despatched the emails he was already going through expenses for inflicting £7,000 of injury in a 20-minute rampage on the Excessive Courtroom.
Prosecutor Gregor McKinley mentioned Osula went to the courtroom on September 20 and stuffed out a type, however after his software was rejected he “picked up a chair … and smashed it against the bulletproof glass”. He was detained by safety workers.
Osula, of Dagenham, pleaded responsible to felony harm and was convicted at trial of 4 counts of sending malicious messages.
On Wednesday, he was given a 12-month neighborhood order together with 30 days of rehab by Choose David Tomlinson, who mentioned it was a “tragic case”.
Osula’s barrister, Stella Harris, mentioned his household was in Galway and his spouse is affected by a terminal sickness.
