Part of the M1 has been closed after a lorry carrying 44 tonnes of glass bottles overturned.
Highways England stated the northbound carriageway would stay shut for a number of hours between junction 38 and 39 whereas the automobile was eliminated .
The lorry overturned at about 02:00 BST between the junctions for Haigh and Durkar in West Yorkshire.
Highways England tweeted drivers confronted delays and that diversions had been in place.
It stated there had been a considerable gasoline spillage throughout the carriageway, with crews working by the night time to clear the street.
