Taking cost of her personal future, the thought of incomes as much as RM400,000 a month didn’t happen to Saleha Abdullah as she started her Nasi Lemak enterprise 10 years in the past. Featured in FMT, Saleha spoke of how the thought of opening up a small stall was triggered by her husband on the time.
“The thought got here from my husband, on the time I used to be working with my late mom at a small stall. From then on, my husband needed me to increase the enterprise by promoting Nasi Lemak in Kampung Pandan. I started with only a kilo of rice.
“It was bought out and I had so as to add extra within the days to come back.”

“It began in 2009 with a modal of RM3,000. I started to become consistent and frugal with the money I’ve spent. In the end I opened a roadside stall with 20 employees.”

She added, “I have never changed anything in my recipe, as I am afraid that people will run away if I change anything.”
It was not all sunshine and rainbows although as Saleha reveals that she, too, confronted trials and tribulations of her personal on her journey.
She recalled of how different enterprise house owners that had been jealous of her success reported her stall to the authorities.
“It saddens me to see other business owners who were envious of my stall use MPAJ to confiscate my tables and chairs, stopping us from operating.”
However not weathered by the storm, Saleha soldiered on and due to that, was capable of buy a premise at Sri Rampai, Wangsa Maju at the price of RM3.eight million!
Actually a story of rags to riches, Saleha’s journey serves as proof that with due diligence something is feasible.
