Michelle Ranicar, 53, allegedly adopted Wright after he had filmed his TV display to determine the place he lived, and despatched messages about his circle of relatives and pleading with him to touch her.

Ranicar’s alleged stalking “had an adverse effect on Matthew and Amelia Wright’s day-to-day activities”, the courtroom heard, and she “knew or ought to have known her course of conduct would cause alarm or distress”. 

According to the felony fee, Ranicar “repeatedly attended the address of Mr and Mrs Wright, attended filming of his television show, sent messages of a personal nature and discussed his family and children with him, requesting contact from him”.
