Andy Robertson elbowed Ayoze Perez to spark their fight after Liverpool’s late win over Leicester City on Saturday.

James Milner’s penalty in harm time sealed a 2-1 victory for Jurgen Klopp’s facet after James Maddison’s equaliser within the 80th minute had cancelled out Sadio Mane’s first-half opener.

But moments after the full-time whistle, Robertson and Perez clashed because the Leicester ahead pushed the Liverpool defender within the again.

Players from each side grew to become concerned in a brawl, whereas the heated alternate continued within the tunnel as they left the pitch.

But subsequent tv footage from Optus Sport has revealed that Robertson delivered a sly elbow to Perez’s midriff, which prompted the push from the Leicester participant.

Speaking after the sport, Leicester supervisor Brendan Rodgers admitted Perez was sad with Robertson’s resolution to rejoice in entrance of him, however made no reference to the elbow from the Liverpool defender.

‘According to the guys, Andy Robertson, on the final whistle, celebrated and pushed him, which he probably didn’t count on,’ stated Rodgers.

‘He was annoyed at that. It led to a melee but it was nothing.’
