Former NFL star Terrell Roberts ‘shot dead in grandmother’s back garden’

Terrell Roberts, a former Cincinnati Bengals star in the NFL, has been shot dead in his grandmother’s backyard in Richmond, San Francisco.

Roberts, 38, was visiting his grandmother’s home when somebody entered the house and shot him in the back backyard on 11 September, in accordance with stories from San Francisco CBS.

Playing as a defensive back, Roberts represented the Bengals for 2 seasons after being drafted in 2003 from Oregon State.

He would go on to play 23 occasions for the Bengals earlier than a knee damage curtailed his profession on the highest degree.

A member of his household advised CBS that Roberts was not “mixed up in anything bad” and that he had a “heart of gold.”
