Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Alexis Sanchez could leave Manchester United following Inter’s loan offer for the 30-year-old.

Sanchez has been keen to leave Old Trafford this summer but clubs have been unwilling to match the Chilean’s £400,000-a-week salary, which is topped up by several bonuses including a £75,000 appearance fee.

Inter have offered to pay half of Sanchez’s wages in order to sign him on loan and the deal will include the option to make the move permanent for £14 million.

Sanchez was left out of United’s squad for their 1-1 draw against Wolves on Monday evening.

And speaking after the match, Solskjaer suggested that Sanchez’s move could still happen.

‘Well, there’s still a couple of weeks left of the transfer window and there is a chance, some clubs have shown interest in Alexis, so we’ll see what happens,’ said Solskjaer.

‘Can’t update you more than that.’
