Ole Gunnar Solskjaer defends Ed Woodward over Manchester United’s transfer strategy

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he helps the construction that has put in place at Manchester United.

Woodward has been closely criticised for United’s method to the transfer market lately which has left Solskjaer needing to strengthen a number of key areas of the squad.

United had been additionally contemplating the concept of hiring a director of soccer to assist enhance the membership’s transfer strategy.

But Solskjaer is adamant that he has sufficient management to resolve United’s future and the signings they make.

‘We’re planning long-term. I’ve been given the job and when you lose a recreation or two, you don’t await a name to be given assurances.

‘But we began out with a plan and a recruitment plan is in place.

‘I’m 100 per cent certain from my time right here that the construction is correct as a result of it’s all the time the supervisor who has the ultimate say.

‘Myself and Mick [Mike Phelan] are those who make the choices on the gamers that we need to have.
