Ole Gunnar Solskjaer names the three Manchester United players who need to ‘step up’

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has instructed a trio of skilled Manchester United players they need to ‘step up’ after a disappointing begin to the new season.

After crushing Chelsea 4-Zero on the opening weekend of the new marketing campaign, Solskjaer’s facet have failed to register a win from their subsequent three matches.

United had been held at Wolves and Southampton and had been overwhelmed by Crystal Palace at Old Trafford for the first time since 1989 earlier this month after a David de Gea error gifted Patrick van Aahnhold a final minute winner.

Solskjaer has positioned his religion in a bunch of rising younger skills which has seen the likes of Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata marginalised thus far this season.



‘The coach must opt for the team that will fight for the title and if he does not win, he bears the responsibility,’ stated former Chelsea midfielder Matic following the 1-1 draw at St Mary’s.

‘I’ve been in soccer for a very long time, I’ve performed virtually all the video games for all the golf equipment in the final 10 years. In order for me to play, one had to sit on the bench and settle for that truth, and so do I now.

‘In the first two or three games he picked the team without me. I work as hard as I can. We respect the decision, it’s up to me to present him that he was flawed and to carry me again to the place I belong.

‘There is no problem. I told him I disagreed with him but that he had to decide the team.’

With the likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw out injured for Saturday’s match towards unbeaten Leicester, Solskjaer could possibly be compelled to recall a few of his extra seasoned execs and has left them in little question as to what he expects from them.

He stated: ‘Well, you’ve bought players who can are available in with a great deal of expertise, Juan (Mata), Nemanja (Matic) and Ash (Young) who didn’t begin the first recreation and have gotten to step up and the common age would possibly go up.’
