Patrice Evra tells Paul Pogba ‘we are here to work’ after returning to Manchester United to finish his coaching badges

Patrice Evra was reunited with his shut pal and former teammate Paul Pogba on Wednesday as he arrived at Manchester United’s Carrington coaching base to full his coaching badges.

The 38-year-old introduced on Tuesday that he is again at his former membership to finish his badges after formally saying his retirement from enjoying in July and it has been reported that he will work with United’s U18s.

Evra was rapidly tracked down by Pogba with whom he shared a dressing room with France and Juventus in the direction of the tip of his profession and the pair are clearly having fun with being in one another’s firm as soon as extra.

Poba took to Instagram to welcome Evra again, posting a narrative with his compatriot during which he known as him ‘uncle’ earlier than saying he was ‘really, really happy’ to see him.



A straightfaced Evra replied by saying: ‘You can call me uncle, but just be serious, we are here to work really hard,’ earlier than sheepishly saying ‘I love you’ prompting a smirk from the Manchester United playmaker.

Evra confirmed his return on Instagram, saying in a put up: ‘I can’t describe how I really feel proper now! Just sporting that coaching coach equipment made me probably the most completely happy man thanks @manchesterunited for serving to me to full my coach badges!

‘Day one done.’

Juan Mata, who briefly performed alongside Evra at Old Trafford replied to the put up saying: ‘Good to see you amigo!!! Coach Pat’, whereas United legend Eric Cantona responded with thumbs up and clapping palms emojis.

Evra loved a vastly profitable eight-year spell with United, serving to the membership win 5 Premier League titles, the Champions League and two League Cups prior to leaving for Juventus in 2014 and he has been outspoken about his former membership in latest months.

Speaking in May following United’s disappointing finish to the season, Evra stated: ‘Just because it’s Paul Pogba, he has haircuts, he dances, his Instagram and all the things, folks will criticise him whereas forgetting the participant that he is.



‘Only him and De Gea can play in a big team in Europe. I think he will leave because you need to feel the love when you play somewhere, you need to be committed.’
