A teenager has been charged with the murder of teaching assistant Lindsay Birbeck.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on August 27 after the mother-of-two was found dead in Accrington Cemetery, in Lancashire.
The body of Lindsay, 47, was found dead by a member of the public at around 8pm on Sunday August 25 in Accrington Cemetery, Lancashire.
She was last seen alive at around 4pm in the nearby village of Huncoat and died as a result of strangulation, said police.
Hundreds of members of the public had gone out looking for her after she went missing from her home in the village on August 12.
Lancashire police confirmed on Saturday afternoon that the teenager had been charged with her killing.
