A newlywed couple are devastated after thieves ransacked their wedding venue simply hours after they tied the knot.

Jamie Prince, 31, and her groom Paul Kirwan, 29, had ‘the wind knocked out of their sails’ after listening to the information the next day.

The thieves had damaged into three barns and pinched all the couple’s gifts and playing cards and cash from a small forged iron put up field.

Guests had given them greater than £1,000 which was going to be put in the direction of their honeymoon to southeast Asia.

A BMW X5 belonging to Paul’s father was additionally taken, together with the couple’s certificates inside.

Jamie stated: ‘We had woken up elated in regards to the superb day.

The thieves additionally helped themselves to all the devices of Jamie’s step-brother’s band, who performed a gig on the reception.
