Harry Dunn’s family appeal for witnesses to fatal crash

The family whose son died in a crash involving a diplomat’s spouse have launched an appeal for witnesses to who might have seen her as she left to return to the US.

Harry Dunn,19, died when his motorcycle crashed right into a car exterior an RAF base in August.

Anne Sacoolas,43, the spouse of a US diplomat, was granted diplomatic immunity after the crash.

The youngsters’s dad and mom, Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn have now taken their combat for justice to the US.

They plan to go to each New York and Washington DC to whip up help from Americans and put strain on the US authorities to “do the right thing”.

Before they left the UK, the family spokesman Radd Seiger mentioned they have been interesting for witnesses who noticed Mrs Sacoolas go away the nation for the US.

He mentioned: “Anne Sacoolas left England to return to the USA following the highway visitors collision exterior RAF Croughton on August 27.

“The United States authorities has claimed she has the advantage of diplomatic immunity and has refused to grant the waiver sought by the British authorities.

“I’d urge anybody, on both facet of the Atlantic, who has any data relating to Mrs Sacoolas’s return to the United States, whether or not earlier than, throughout, or after her departure, to please come ahead.”
