Öpik mentioned it was ‘theoretically possible’ people had been ‘seeded here by a higher intelligence’ (Picture: ITV)

Öpik described how the universe has existed for 14 billion years and mentioned ‘it’s fairly potential that life has been seeded from one place to a different, both accidentally, for instance by asteroids bringing natural materials right here, or on goal’.

‘Now, the second one’s fascinating as a result of it’s theoretically potential that we had been seeded right here by the next intelligence,’ he continued.

‘I don’t assume they’re travelling round in UFOs which they forgot to cover from the US intelligence or the US air power.

‘But it would be conceivable that we are actually part of a bigger plan.’
