A moped mugger has admitted trying to rob Arsenal stars Mesut Ozil and .

Ashley Smith, 30, pleaded responsible to making an attempt to steal watches from World Cup winner Ozil, 30, and full-back Kolasinac, 26, in Hampstead, north-west London on July 25.

Footage on social media confirmed Bosnian defender Kolasinac, nicknamed The Tank, chasing off two armed moped attackers sporting helmets and darkish clothes.

The membership’s £350,000-a-week Germany midfielder Ozil will be seen in his black Mercedes G class jeep earlier than he reportedly took refuge in a Turkish restaurant.

Smith, of Archway, north London, was remanded in custody forward of sentence at Snaresbrook Crown on November 1 by Judge Sheelagh Canavan.
