A 26-year-old man has been charged after a car crashed into a campsite, injuring four people.
Jake Waterhouse, from Manchester, will appear at Llandudno Magistrates Court tomorrow.
One woman was left in a critical condition and three others were recovering after the car crashed into their tents on Rhyd y Galen campsite near Bethel, Caernarfon, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
DCI Sion Williams said: ‘As a result of this disturbing incident, the Crown Prosecution Service has authorised charging a 26-year-old man from the Manchester area with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence, driving a motor vehicle without insurance and failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.’
A second man who was arrested by North Wales Police following the incident has been released under investigation..
A police spokesperson added that the woman who was seriously injured remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
