Police have launched a homicide investigation as a man has died greater than a week after he was assaulted in a Manchester pub.
Gavin Brown, 29, was taken to hospital with critical accidents after police had been known as to studies of a disturbance on the Melville Resort in Stretford on Friday April 12.
Three males, aged 52, 39 and 30, had been arrested on suspicion of a part 18 assault and later launched beneath investigation.
He died in hospital on Saturday and police have since stated the probe is now being handled as homicide.
DI Terry Chatterton stated: ‘Sadly the worst has occurred and at the moment Gavin misplaced his combat for all times.
