A paedophile who superimposed his personal head on images of men sexually abusing children as a result of they ‘aroused’ him has been jailed.

Charles Lwanga, 47, advised cops who confirmed up at his house with a search warrant, ‘I have been expecting you’.

He instantly handed over his iPad as police started to go looking his flat, in Howardgate, Welwyn Garden City on October 20, final 12 months, heard a courtroom.

When the iPad was examined, tens of hundreds of indecent images had been found, with 428 of them being Category A – probably the most severe stage.

The prosecution mentioned: ‘In eight of the images he had superimposed his face on grownup male abusers.

‘In interview he accepted he manipulated the images so he appeared in them. He said he found them arousing.’

Lwanga was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court to 26 months in jail.

He had pleaded responsible to a few counts of making (downloading) indecent images of children, one of possessing excessive pornography and one of possessing prohibited images of children.

Jailing him, Judge Philip Grey mentioned Lwanga had actively created a ‘library of depraved material’ and the manipulated images had been ‘sinister’.

He added that actual children had been pressured to endure the best degradation.

The decide advised him: ‘You chose to download a vast quantity of this material for your own sexual gratification.’

Another 806 downloaded images had been at Category B and 13,737 images and 7 movies had been as a minimum severe stage, Category C, heard the courtroom.

The prosecution mentioned six photos had been of excessive pornography and 141 had been prohibited images.

Laura Miller, defending, mentioned the defendant had made instant admissions to the police saying: ‘I am guilty. I am guilty.’

She mentioned he made no excuses for his behaviour however, on the time his alcohol consumption was very excessive.

‘He is ashamed and embarrassed. He is very remorseful. Since the intervention of the police, there has been no further offending,’ she added.

Lwanga should register as a intercourse offender and abide by the phrases of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years. His iPad was forfeited.
