Six teenagers arrested after man, 58, beaten to death in Wales

Six teenagers are in police custody after a man died following an assault in Neath. The incident happened just before 1am on 1 September in Main Road, Neath Abbey, Skewen. Police later confirmed a 58-year-old man died as a result of his injuries. Six male youths aged between 14-17 years old have been arrested and remain in police custody. Detective Chief Inspector Darren George from South Wales Police said the victim's family are being supported by specially trained officers. ?I am keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was driving down Main Road Skewen between midnight and 1.30am who may have dash cam footage. ?This investigation is very much ongoing and I would like to remind the public of the importance of not speculating on the circumstances or naming of people they believe may be involved.? Police have arrested six teenagers in reference to the death of a person who was assaulted in Neath.

The man, 58, was attacked simply earlier than 1am on Sunday in Main Road, Neath Abbey, Skewen.

South Wales Police stated he later died on account of his accidents.

The teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, stay in police custody for questioning.

Detective Chief Inspector Darren George from South Wales Police stated the sufferer’s household are being supported by specifically skilled officers.

He stated: ‘I’m eager to communicate to anybody who might have witnessed the incident or who was driving down Main Road Skewen between midnight and 1.30am who might have sprint cam footage.

‘This investigation is very much ongoing and I would like to remind the public of the importance of not speculating on the circumstances or naming of people they believe may be involved.’
